Cornell University sophomore Benjamin Roberts, undefeated as a Black Belt in six matches at three Ivy Northeast Collegiate Taekwondo League tournaments, fights M.I.T. middleweight Chris Han. The video also includes the exciting Sudden Death round in which Cornell University Black Belt Karen Chin defeats her MIT opponent.

  • you don't put up your hands in wtf taekwondo. because it's a sport, they leave the chest area open because there's no point in guarding

    if you do keep your hands up and a person hits you on the chest or head right where you are guarding, points are still awarded even if it is blocked. therefore hands are kept loose for maximum speed. WTF isnt for fighting, ITF is.
