Recap: READ PART 1 FIRST!!!!!
Chapter 22 Part 2
Nick:*to Brian* She has had 3 redbulls today, and is driving me crazy. She is all yours, I have a test to study for.
*Nick walk away in the direction of the library & Brian grabs Rachels hand and leads her to a bench in the main hallway, they sit and talk about random and unimportant things.*
Rachel:*looks down hand Brians fingers still intertwined with hers, she smiles slightly*
Brian:*softly* Hey. *she looks up* What are you smiling about?
Rachel:*pauses, still smiling* Im happy.
Brian:*smiles* Me too.
*The bell rings and they reluctantly part ways as the hallway fills with people again. The rest of the day passes normally, with Rachel still hyper. Nick & Rachel go home.*
Nick & Rachel:*accidentally in unison* JOE!!!
Joe:*runs in* What?!?
Rachel:*smiles & waves* Hi! *walks into the living room & turns on the TV*
Nick: Why in the world would you give Rachel 3 redbulls before school?!?!
Joe:*shrugs nonchalantly* She asked for them. *joins Rachel on the couch, watching I Love Lucy reruns*
*Nicks POV*
Nick:*I sat on the other side of him and punched him in the arm* Dude! She has been SO hyper today. I finally had to dump her off on Brian because she was bugging me.
*When I said Brians name, Joe turned toward me like he just started paying attention. I was a look of sadness flicker across his eyes, but it faded as quickly appeared. The look of sadness was quickly replaced with a look of indifference. Even though he thought he was hiding it well, everyone but Joe, Rachel, and I think my mom can see how much Rachel and Joe like each other. I dont know if either would ever admit it, even to themselves. The time we asked Joe about it he got really defensive, but I could tell it made him think about things that he hadnt really considered. I also know more about Rachels feelings than she thinks. Rachel would kill her, but Sarah has confided some things to me. She told me that Rachel had a crush on Joe. That Rachel was conflicted about her feelings, although Sarah didnt elaborate on that. Also that Sarah personally thinks that Rachel & Joe were made for each other, and she doesnt really think Brians intentions are very pure. I agree with her on that. She also said that she wants Rachel to be happy, and if Brian makes her happy then she was going to support Rachels decisions.*
*Rachels POV*
Joe:*deadpan* And what am I supposed to do about that now? *he arched his eyebrow*
Nick:*he got frustrated with Joe and stalked off to his room*
Rachel: Joe, be nice to Nick!! *I laughed*
*We kept watching I Love Lucy, I think it was a marathon. I remember watching the infamous conveyer belt episode, then the next thing I knew I was waking up in dark room. I turned over and saw a light. Behind it was Nick, I think he was on his laptop.*
Rachel: How did I get in here?
Nick:*glancing up slightly* Joe carried you in. He said you crashed on the couch watching an I Love Lucy marathon.
Rachel:*mostly to myself* Well, that was sweet of him. *pause* What time is it?
Nick: 12:30am.
Rachel: What are you doing?
Nick: Im checking email and Im on aim.
Rachel: Who are you talking to? * he paused and I knew what that meant, I turned back over* Tell Selena I said hi.
*I knew he was blushing without even looking at him. I dont know why he was always so embarrassed. I thought the two of them were adorable together. They are in love. Im happy for them.*
Rachel:*quietly* You know, I want to meet her.
Nick: Why?
Rachel: She makes you happy. You love her. Youre like my little brother and I want to meet the girl the makes you happy.
Nick: Alright.
Rachel: Promise.
Nick: Yeah, I promise.
Rachel: Good. *with that settled, I fell into a peaceful sleep, I couldnt wait for tomorrow night to come*

[AN. Alright, sucky ending, I know. Thats all I could think of. Next chapter will be Rachel getting ready for the dance and the dance itself. It will probably will be really long. Mainly because I a lot will be happening and as you may have noticed, I like to type a lot. XD Thanks for reading, I appreciate it. I have no random questions, sorry.
