Wow! I was looking for this by Van Morrison but none of them were very good. I clicked on this one and at first, I thought the guy singing was Matt Dillon. This is excellent. Band is great, singer is great, I danced to it, I'll give it a 10.

Nice job! Too bad they were playing for such a small crowd, but my hats off to them for not letting their showmanship drop off because of it. Bass player was a bit mechanical/off in the beginning but did better towards the end. And yes, I am a bass player myself. :)
Hopefully this vid will help you guys get more gigs with larger crowds!!!

Not a bad cover of a great song. The horn section did very well. Can anyone tell me where I can find the original recording of this song and not a concert or cover version? Thanks for your help. And is it just me, or does this lead singer look like Jim Carey in "Me, Myself & Irene"?

lol.. now that you mention it.. he does bear a resemblance to 'Hank' -doesn't he? I'm not sure about finding the original on youtube. We morphed some of John Mellencamp's cover along with Van Morrison for our arrangment. -thanks all for the comments! -mark
