Please don't be harsh with comments as I am new to the whole Vlog thing or whatever it's called these days.

This is my slowly growing retro console and computer collection. Most of it has either been donated to me, or bought from flea markets and car boot sales. Sometimes I happen upon bargains, sometimes I pay over the odds, it all balances out in the end.

My intention is to start reviewing systems and games on the original hardware (where possible) once I figure out the whole capture card thing...

I've been 'inspired' to do this after watching videos from teh likes of Atarixx, Lukemorse1, AVGN etc.

I am basically houseboud due to disabilities and needed a new hobby, so I went back and though about my most happy times when I was a child, and it always came down to gaming...

Missed out of this video (yet shown) are a Sega GameGear with Coolspot which I picked up for £5, 2 original Gameboys that I picked up for £1 each, one with Konami Golf and the other with a Japanese 32 in 1 cart, a GP32x which I picked up cheaply (just struggling to find a Smartmedia card to go with it). Also not shown I have a PSP (custom firmware), DS (DSTT card) , GBA SP (with Supercard SD), 2 Atari 800XL's (inc SIO2PC cable) and an Xbox 360 (currently on it's return journey to me from Frankfurt after being repaired for System Error E74)

I should hopefully have the first of my reviews up soon, once I figure out the whole video editing thing...

  • @emojo1990 that's excellent... its great to see (and don't take this the wrong way), people from the younger generation finding some enjoyment out of the computers and consoles that made up nearly all of my younger years - and ermm, l of the last few years I have left...

  • @bsg7 well its actualy a very fun piece of kit..... once it gets up and running. the problem is, it takes 10 mins to load any game and then tuning it into the tv is in issue if you dont have the remote. but once the games are on the screen, its hard to get me away from it. U.S gamers are missing out!

  • @emojo1990 Sweet! how do you rate it amongst this gen of consoles / PC dude??

I've got 3 +2s, all different revisions, so i'm not missing out on the 128k love - I just get to do it on an amstrad (SPIT!) produced machine...

  • @bsg7 aww, ive still got the one my mum and dad used to play and we have tons of games for it like alien and dragon torque

  • @emojo1990 unfortunately not - it's a 48k+ with dodgy a tape input :(

  • spectrum 128k?

  • @bsg7 dumbass

  • The first system that I ever owned was an Acorn Electron. :)
