The Bryant again. It's working this time.

This also includes my upstairs unit which is a newer Bryant 15 seer from 2010.

  • @theprivateer100 Was it a HARD start kit the tech put in? If so, I would venture to guess there is too much head pressure at start up (usually from using an evaporator that has a TXV with a condensing unit designed to work with a piston setup.) If he just replaced the start capacitor then all should be well. Hopefully he did a bench mark to make sure the temp drop across the evap was correct and temp rise across the condenser was correct, if they are not, check for proper air flow and charge

  • Cool. Could you do a startup video? On my carrier, there was that vibrating going on, but it was because it was unlevel.

  • @theprivateer100 Please make a more detailed video of these units soon. Do you know the nominal tonnage of these unit?

  • @HVACKID94 But it makes this crazy vibrating sound. If u wish for me to make a vid of the sund i will. I've heard Bryant is carrier which i've heard is one of the best kind. In fact, that new Bryant replaced a 1989 Carrier heat pump which also worked great.
