My dad was Grounds Manager at Newark from the 50's to the 80' Joe Otterbine. 36 years he put in, at lost it all. As a child I remember the name Lorenzo, and bastard being said just after his name was mantioned.

I worked at EAL from 1977-1989 (Ramp service and Engine shop mechanic). Walked out on March 3rd to strike. I now realize all these corporate executives are mentally ill since they seek power and money beyond what anyone could ever use. We see it all more clearly now since the banksters and wallstreet have stripped all of us working Americans of billions of our wealth and retirement money.

Marty is in a very large deep hole today.

@jhowej3 amen brother

@Myredocean30 I was the Manager of Ramp and Aircraft Services in Atlanta. I met Marty. He was an egotistical Moron just like Lorenzo was. My next promotion would have been to Vice President of the Eastern Region for Eastern Airlines. I opposed Borman and the Boards continued spending, I opposed the sale to Lorenzo, and I opposed Lorenzo locking out the IAM and forcing a strike. He did it to Liquidate Eastern and build up Continental. Marty helped him do it. He was a moron, and SCAB.

@guaonico I am not the J. Howe you are looking for. I am the J. Howe from Detroit, who also worked in Tampa, Atlanta, and Kansas City.

@jhowej3 Jamie Howe! A blast from the past. Sam Peri, Bart Edgar and Jamie Howe. Memories! That was a long time ago. Still in Miami?
-
He's got all the time he needs now in Hell. Lorenzo will be joining him there someday.

F-U SCAB. Once a SCAB always a SCAB.... where did it get you. You worked just long enough to allow Lorenzo to destroy Eastern and keep liquidating it through the bankruptcy court.... and you were too dumb to realize your job was shortlived while the liquidation proceeded. You are not only a SCAB but a Moron too.
Yep. You got it. Eastern was destroyed on purpose to build up Continental from the #14th in size to #5, by stripping Eastern of it's assets. Shugrue did Eastern no favors and lined his pockets like Lorenzo did. I hold Borman most Responsible for letting Lorenzo in the door. We got Franked. First by Borman then by Lorenzo. And to all you fucking Scabs... I hope you burn with Lorenzo and Shugrue. They will have to answer to a higher authority someday for putting 50,000 people out of jobs.
