  • aivan mahtava tuo uuno peli :)

  • @einokeino303 I only had two original games and since I was very bad at games then - even worse than now - I sorely missed the trainer a lot of crackers put in. That way, I actually enjoyed cracked games more. To be honest, I had no idea what piracy was in those days; maybe I was a little backward, but at least it meant I could enjoy games without a guilty conscience - the one keeping me away from pirated movies and software nowadays :-)

I genuinely hope you will find your old creations soon!

  • @Co19801003 I've always appreciated the work done by crackers despite the propaganda in computer magazines. It's not like they would "stream" games in TV so you could get a (VHS) copy. I had about 1000 games of which something like 90% were not originals. Even though I put most of my allowance and gift money into c64 games I was still missing more than half before I got Amiga and c64 was "obsolete".

  • @andwilmor I LOVED Kikstart 2 on the C64, but unfortunately I sold my C64 complete with all my games one day to get an A500. I was young and ignorant ;-) Thanks for contributing to this great game :-)

While you must have disliked software pirates back in the eighties, they must have contributed a lot to the number of copies out there, thereby increasing your chance of finding what you are looking for now. It's terribly ironic, don't you think? *walks off singing the song* :-)

  • It's great to see these videos. I designed Kikstart II with Shaun. If anyone has any of our other games, I would love to see them again. Humdinger was one of my favorites - haven't seen that for 20 years. Thanks for posting the video - Andrew Morris.

  • C64 was a kick ass platform, too bad they didn't release more games on cartridges, THEN it would've been insane. Think about it, indestructible machine with indestructible game format. Rrrocking!

  • @hayleyclips

That's because it wasn't assembled in China.
