I despise the drug commonly known as refined sugar.

It's a good area to research. I agree.

I find there to be much conflicting info every where regarding organics. Much to be learned yet:)

Okay, you convinced me well. But what are the health risks of eating tainted, chemical-laced food? And how do people these days afford organic? I can barely afford decent juice these days...

Peter I am with You2b and most others that commented on this . Controlled substances, even like Sugar.
Peter should start a health food store so that we would have a place to go where tainted food is NOT sold. But I question whether a pomegranate must be organic because you don't eat the peel. If you eat the peel, like with apples and peaches, it's best to go organic. Maybe you could give me some more straight poop why I must go organic 100% when the health food pundits are saying it may not be absolutely necessary?

Also I wanted to make you aware that the pesticide spray is not the only thing which would get on the produce - the peel. Many of the chemicals are absorbed through the peel. Many come through the water, the roots, and the fertilizers are a big deal in this equation.
You cannot do better than Nature. Let's learn the truth. Compost, manure, etc.

One of the sacred fruits of the ancients. They have been relatively unknown to much of the modern world - especially USA.
Apples, oranges, grapes, pears... pomegranates.. last place.
