Thanks to the crew who allowed me to have my greatest time on my whole life ... in this Air France A319 cockpit ! We were taking off from Toulouse (LFBO), France, to Paris Orly (LFPO) on May 26, 2007, on my way to La Ferte Alais !
What could I say? Just when you've been dreaming to pilot an Airliner since you're born, and then when you pilot for the very first time a small plane at the age of 15, this flight was so great !!! well that's the biginning of a great big adventure, and the flight was something kinda amazing, just really loved it !
Well, we took off on runway 32R, SID was FISTO, and we arrived with STAR AMB4W (AMB for Amboise, W stands for West arrival) and a landing on Rwy 26 ..
Thanks for watching !

  • I have recently got my A320 Type rating, According to the takeoff procedurs. It is recommended that the PF hand should be off the thrust levers after Vr, so a rejected takeoff will not be accidently done after the rotation speed.

  • @pilotazzam You mean after V1 rather than VR.

V1 is the speed beyond which you will not reject a take-off, VR is the rotation speed, nothing to do with that.

  • How do people get to go in a cockpit during takeoff?!?!

  • In a country that allows it (most of the European countries excluding the UK and Ireland unfortunately) and by showing your pilot licence, there's a chance they allow you in. It depends whether they're ok with someone in the flight deck, how busy it is going to be, whether you look normal and calm, ...

  • @toparab123 The best way these days is through the RAF and normally a scholarship they will put you through, however this normally requires you to have been in the air cadets from a very young age. Apart from that you would need to self finance yourself through flying school. Some airlines will consider taking people on with only a Instrument ratings license and train you upto ATPL but this is very rare. Even to get to Instrument Ratings level your looking at around £15,000 in fee.

  • @golfcharlie232 Yes I do agree with you on that, i meant V1

  • i would love to become a pilot does anyone have any informations on how to become a pilot because i have just finished school in uk,birmingham

  • A combien de % les gaz au décollage ? Par exemple en pleine charge, 85, 90 % ?

  • @golfcharlie232 i have been in a cockpit without any licences :)

  • 0.17 les autothrottle se sont mis en auto :)
