Great vid! I saw your Road runner Vid too! You build some beasts! The tech stuff is perfect. You explain "why" things happen, not just "oh, that happens and you do this". Keep up the great work!

Five minutes the hard way. That is 51 runs down the 1/4 for the class.

I like the detail, the raw engineering. a whole lot of shaking going on... IS this because the pump and pick-up is far away and poorly attached to block allowing it to vibrates? maybe the pick-up and pump can be mounted with an addition triangleulation to the block to stop pick-up vibration. Even that one piece pump and pick-up probably vibrates with those two close together mount bolts. Maybe get a extra anti vib. strap ...on the NEW one piece pump too

@Luminaring I think once the harmonics start to play a role in the engine the pickup that is extended away from the ridged pump acts kind of like a ruler getting flicked over the side of a table, bring the ruler all the way onto the table, no more buzz.

@groutaone Ya, the one piece pump's integrated pick-up is NO ruler to flop back and forth. And at one pound lighter, it will decrease vibration energy at 8K rpm compared to iron pump vibrating against those mount bolts. So, that pump seems to be the ticket to...no more bad vibs.

@Luminaring Well I run the new pump for one summer with no troubles, but I'am sure I wont have any from this one
