Changed the video information to make sure people know these tips are no longer current.

My account's been inactive for a few months, but I will be starting back up again tonight or tomorrow. As I play around with specs and gear and everything, I will update this video once I feel confident in my ability to give advice given the changes.

so the only addon you use is scrollingcombattext?

i want an addon that i have to click on the player, then either click or hit the number of the spell on my cast bar, like the basic user interface. is that what it does?

ScrollingCombatText basically just displays parts of your combat log as scrolling lines near your character.

The default raid UI will let you click on a player to target them, so you can subsequently heal them with one of your hotkeyed abilities. I think most healing AddOns will do something similar if you don't like the look of the default UI, though.

Hey, Im wondering if you use any macros that would help me with healing and also can you list good healing addons that would make the healing job easier for a disc priest. thx :)

I'd recommend making a target macro for your power infusion.

/cast [target=whoever] Power Infusion

Just figure out who will put it to the most use in each raid and fill in their name.

As for AddOns, the only one I use for raiding is ScrollingCombatText, since I don't like Blizzard's version. Otherwise, I just use the default UI.

Otherwise, most healers seem to go with a combination of Grid and HealBot. I'm used to the default UI, however, so I play best using it.

Just want to make sure, but this video was from patch 3.1 in WotLK - the most updated one was 4.0.3, and I updated the text guide for 4.0.6.

Can I ask You a favor please? I play discipline priest too and I'd like to have a perfect skill in Rapture trik. I have scrolling combat text addon but I wasn't able to configure showing a spell icon when scrolling returning mana. I see it shows You the icon of Rapture when Your mana returns from this spell. I think I have propably wrong version of SCT. So could You please be so kind and post me a link to Your version? Here is my e-mail...Dandyc@seznam.cz . Or you can post it simple here :) THX
