yes the tail is needed but not the tail rotor. they put the tail on that heli and all co axle for a reason. it keeps it balanced. i took the tail off my lama and it flies like urs. but it flies very fast for some reason tailess haha

mine is acting the same way!

I think you need a tail

Not on a counter spinning coaxial - even though it looks weird "tail-less" the tail is not really needed like on conventional helis. Flying outside though it would sure help to see where the front vs. back is ;)

Well!
I put back a longer flybar and shortened the shaft a bit, that helped some.
So are you flyinf it like this, just correcting a lot, or you consider it unflyable in this config?
Thx for the reply ;)

your flybar weights are in the middle! a pro would have a hard time with that. put the weights on the end of the bar and try it there also the servo arms have to be DEAD level, and the swashplate needs to be perfect if you want to have that flybar on there. it's the little things that count when you start putting mods like that on the lama.

The weights r where they are on purpose. That is to increase the responsiveness. Yes, I realize how much it changes the stability :)
I have flown this lama this way for a long time.
I have to rebuild it back to stock and change things one by one. I rolled back to standard flybar and standard inner shaft, also short servo arms, so far - still have issues. What I have not done was roll back to standard nonCNC components.
