Been playing since 1982. I just bought a Pearl Reference. Sick drum kit to say the least. But I dont even feel Im a worthy drummer for this amazing kit. I feel guilt for buying it. In fact after nearly 30 years and 100s of gigs I still suck. Then I saw this kid with a sick set. All I can say is that I hope this set that your parents bought you keeps you motivated forever. Its an insane kit for sure. Find a band and get better. Good luck

He's a kid for fuck's sake! He's gotta lotta years in front of him to learn and improve. And maybe you should get a better job if you can or quit blowin' your cash in the local strip joint on chics you'll never get and then maybe you can buy yourself a kit like this if that's what you want. The only negative thing I'm gonna say is he may as well have saved some cash and got a Pearl Export kit, cause with the way these are tuned, it wouldn't make a difference. Keep drummin' man.

you're getting there young man don't worry about what all these people say. There are a lot of drummers that have the same kit you have that are a lot worse. I would say you should take a took at your independance though. Your hand development is coming along and that's great but your bass drum wasn't even present. Throw in some triplet independance exercises to get that rolling keep going!!!
