A 2d-3d compositing demo. In there u´ll find matte paintings, particules-based effects, camera tracking (3d models into a 2D video sources), deep pixel effects, home made transitions, etc. At the end, you´ll see a pretty good Zoom-in effect, with satellite hd images and 3D models by Blender.

  • Sure you can, but in my case i wouldn´t do so as I´m actually moving from fusion to nuke aswell as from blender to Maya. AE is nice too, but i don´t really use it for compositing. Anyway you know, the tool does not make the artist :).

  • Thanks Boris! People like you motivate people like me to learn such awesome stuff! Keep it coming! :)

  • That´s fine, but this isn´t too much, just rapid stuff! Thanks!

  • thx :)

  • @MaghoxFr i mean, i suppose you could, but i wouldn't. in my opinion its easier in AE for compositing and roto. Try it. see which workflow you like better.

  • @SuperWario094 I thought so

  • @MaghoxFr no

  • Would you say that I could get rid of after effects and use blender instead? Voodoo for tracking, blender for matte, mask, rotoscoping, 2d compositing...

  • VERY nice!

I loved the whole thing. It's really amazing that you can create basically everything :D

    Well done, mate ;)

  • nice!
