i called my dad over to show him this song,for my wedding someday. He yelled at me,sayin he didnt have time for "silly songs". I pleaded&pleaded& finally he went to his room and shut the door so he could work in peace. I played the song over and over again, letting the tears run down my face, asking, "Oh, please, Daddy, please. Why won't you dance with me?" I don't know how long he was standing there, but he pulled me on my feet and said, "Why didn't you tell me you wanted to dance, Cinderella?"

My dad went to high school with Steven Curtis chapman and was in a talent show with him. I met him many times and he is a very nice guy. This is my all time favorite song from him.
