I have to disagree. Though I am a BIG fan of the first and second versions not a single (except maybe some DS versions) version of zelda has ever let me down. WInd waker is of course a change in looks but it did offer a new perspective and the game was still exciting.
And Twilight princess was just beautiful all around, a great perspective on past links and I like the aspect of no magic. New weapons, and new problems presented, though I am a little tired of Ganandorf.

@trippingwithmetal it's a mini boss, these guys become normal monsters at the end of the game, and get VERY annoying when like 4 of them attack you at once

I was directed here by the promise of zelda pwnage. I was displeased with what I saw, and made it known.
Sorry.
Anyway, zelda is so..generic. Sure it was great in the days of snes and n64..now its just a bland stereotype of itself. I grew up playing Final Fantasy, which is better than zelda in every aspect. Storytelling, music, gameplay, characters. In FF its actually deep, meaningful, and significant. In Zelda its cliche cartoons, Though there are a few good pieces of music.

I agree. Zelda definitely is very formulaic. However, Final Fantasy also was a bland stereotype of itself when Nintendo had the franchise, especially 1-3.
