Thanks for the kind words. I paired it with music from the same era. Which seems to work well enough.

I find it interesting that although we think of Picasso as an overwhelming explosion of creative energy that defined his times, it is his friendly rival Matisse who seems to have more of an influence on artists closer to our present. Maybe because Matisse has a more decorative aspect? Something to wonder about.

Very well put, I believe Picasso himself once said, "Before Matisse...there was nothing." They did have a friendly rivalry, one of the very few in Picasso's lifetime, I think. Vincent van Gogh and Frida Kahlo are tops in my book, though! : ) Again, thanks for the video...keep 'em coming!
