I'm self taught, have been playing for a little over a year and a half, love this piece, I know it's not perfect, but I think it's not too bad, watching it helped me fix some things that were wrong expression-wise and also changing speed too much, please comment, remember I've only been playing about a year and a half and am self taught so be nice. By the way, the reason it cut off is that the camera ran out of battery. Sorry about the video going too fast for the audio, it plays fine on my computer, just not on youtube..

  • that piano sucked , sorry sir :(

  • Indeed, the piano itself is over 100 years old and doesn't hold it's tune. My interpretation has changed a lot wince this video was made, almost 4 years ago now. There are a lot of things in this video that are just plain wrong. You've got to cut me some slack though, at this point I had had no lessons, and had only been playing for about a year and a half.

  • not bad man, not bad. I would encourage you to take some lessons because self taught can only get you so far. And also you might wanna consider getting the piano tuned.

  • haha yeah

  • please tune your piano, its veery out of tune, no offense lol

  • self taught ppl can self teach to read sheet music too

  • its out of sync

  • this part that he is playing is not hard to read .. a 5 year old could read this ..

  • lol, I am self taught, at least I was up until quite a while after I posted this..

it's very easy to read music if you have patience, it's just logic, I found out where middle c was on the treble and bass clefs and worked all the other notes out from there.. as for accidentals and ornamentation, if something confused me I just found someone who could read music to tell me what they meant..

does require a lot of patience though lol..

  • I don't think your self taught. How did you learn how to read music that is hard as this piece is?
