Too bad that the word is here to stay I mean we take it into humor or even labeling who has gone through many different trances. It does not mean the same thin or hold strength like it did 40 or 60+ yrs ago its bullshit to think that it is still that serious as it was 40 or 60 yrs ago... sorry people your just beating a brick wall IT IS here to stay im sorry :(

I am black, not from the US and I NEVER EVER use the word nigga/ nigger. I find it very appalling and very uneducated that we as a ppl use a word that was meant to degrade us as a 'cool' word. It is wrong and I don't want ppl to use that word around me. And the whole 'we flipped it and made it our own & nigga vs nigger'-argument is just silly! And to be honest I don't know of any other race that uses words that were meant to humiliate them as 'cool' words. It is wrong, wrong, wrong!

We have failed an entire generation of young black people if they think using the word nigger is acceptable. They were sold this word through the white-controlled recording industry. The words you choose speak volumes about how you identify yourself with the world. People in turn will use your own words against you.
