(ca. 1974 - 05/15/1984) - 1959 - Summary: Two rhesus monkeys, Able and Baker, who survived a biomedical research trip into space in a Jupiter missile nosecone are picked up somewhere in the South Atlantic Ocean by the US Navy tug Kiowa. Scenes show the Jupiter nose cone being picked up and taken aboard. Monkeys are taken out of their containers. CUs, members of the crew hold the monkeys. Monkey being held over newspaper item: "2 US Space Monkeys Ready for Hero Tribute".
