Did you know there's a city in Canada (White Rock) that NORMALLY enjoys milder winters than Oklahoma City? After accounting for wind chill, it is MUCH milder than Oklahoma City. You'd notice the difference- trust me! Surprised?

Wow... We only got a dusting in south eastern Oklahoma... but that February we got a lot more... about 8 inches in Hugo... and where I am going to school in Commerce Texas we got a foot... Dallas got a similar 14 inches. We had several snow events last year... one crazy fun winter!

did you really get over a foot of snow?
Yes, 14.1 inches officially at the airport weather station. My front yeard measured 12 inches with a snow drift on side of home 18 inches deep.

I'm surprised to see cars abandoned in the middle of what looks like a large intersection. Does OKC not have a lot of snow removal equipment?

Not for snow storms like this. Most winters we see maybe 1-2" at most. some winters nothing. 14inches is just crazy for OKC.
