@MrMatthiasSchneider To tell you the truth, I don't even remember making this comment. Must've been a bad day... I don't mean to be abrasive. You're an unbelievably skilled player (the tapping especially is crystal clean), this style just isn't for me. Which begs the question why I even commented in the first place :| Oh well.

Meatheads like you are what gives shredding a bad name in the first place. It's a great technique for showing off, but it essentially boils down to just playing notes incredibly fast without any consideration for melody. It's completely tasteless.
Not denying that it's incredibly hard to do, though.
