Idaho Rangeland - Private Property

Nearly half of Idaho is classified as rangeland. Of that, 80% is public and 20% is privately owned. These lands are interspersed and fences do not indicate land ownership. Take the time to look at a map and ask for permission if you are crossing private land. Many landowners are happy to allow access, but it is appreciated if they are asked.
