Felling troublesome third gum tree

This was the one where it went wrong. The rope to guide the tree in the right direction (away from boundary fences) snapped with the tree almost sawn through and ready to fall. We had to very quickly get another rope on it and get it down with the wind pushing it in the wrong direction.

If you don't like the language, you try keeping a polite tongue with this sort of near disaster hanging over your head. Fortunately it came down in the right direction in the end.
