Ideally I would like to wait at least 4 months before I'm intimate with a new man; but its not so realistic as an adult. If I'm talking to a guy, I already know I want to do him because I have to be sexually attracted from day one. I take a lot of down time-abstaining between partners, so when I finally deal with a relationship, I'm ready for intimacy. In my case, it don't make sense for me to keep waiting. I could wait a year and still not find out he's a jerk until after we screw.
