  • ATTENTION EVERYONE: just because it looks like aerogel does NOT mean it is aerogel. aerogel does not contain any fluids, by the way. so any video that tells you to use fluids (water, acetone) to create aerogel is just bullshitting you.

  • @IStealAllYourVideos another Sherlock have came up! i have made hundred pieces of aerogel and proved it at youtube by laser refraction. it has been up for 2 years and there was only one intelligent comment. attention everyone indeed!

  • @pimbilibom Aerogel is made by replacing the fluids in the 'gel' with gases, which turns the 'gel' into a solid structure (like a brick, but brittle like glass). and I doubt you have the technology to actually do that. but hey, whatever floats your boat

  • @IStealAllYourVideos well, my technology is public, click on my name to see more

  • @pimbilibom Maybe if you put that in your video description people wouldn't ask so much. You don't exactly make it super obvious that your making aerogel. Which is what youtube people need. So don't be a dick when someone asks you.

  • @calves92 good point
