Helpful tutorial, but you've got to work on your sound. I had it on full blast and still could barely hear.

Being new to InDesign this tutorial gave me some insights into fundamentals that will be useful for some time to come. The volume was a little low on this though.

@diasdesign1 Was trying to figure out how the hell to use those master page text frames in general pages for a while and when InDesign crashed in the video I thought I will never find it out... Thanks!

? I was watching, you're about to show how to unlock the master page. Next thing ya know, you said, phenomenal and the vid was over. How do you override the master page? What was the short cut. Oh and while we are on shortcuts, I am use a MacBook Pro. I don't have the same shortcut for deletes (the boxy looking z with the dash just above it off to the right). I do not have it on my keyboard. Thanks

you have to hold command shift while clicking (or double clicking) on the object you want to edit - this also frees the object from the master page.

ah, yes...I was going to redo this one, but its a nice ending...always save you work!
