MQM broke all records including its own previous records in this elections, why? Two reasons: (1)See Karachi's Development projects initiated by Mustafa Kamal, (2)27 December incident riots in Karachi drove people from their home to the poling stations. If you don't like MQM, its your choice, you have the right to support any party, but respect MQM's vote bank. By saying election is unfair you are disrespecting its vote bank which is inevitable.

Naseerullah Babar is in unknown Northern Territory since then. If courts have ever taken action against the genocide, there would definitely be a different picture. However, MQM is still the party of common people of Pakistan (not only Karachi) and people love MQM. Because MQM is the the journey of its struggle and the destination is yet to come. You cannot deny the MQM's massive vote bank in Karachi by just saying its unfair.

Why MQM was so popular in that time? Because MQM emerges with the real issues of the people and its representation of 98% of middle class and downtrodden. When the decade long extra-judicial murder of 15,000 MQM workers/supporters had ended, no court had ever taken action against the genocide of Muhajirs. So what do you expect from them? Yes, they killed the corrupt policeman who involved in it, enemies who are in range.

You are blaming something about MQM without proof and then using those unproved allegations for conclusion by yourself that they would have lost if the election were fair.

As you said, we have countless supporters in 93 then why did Govt. and agencies/military started the genocide act against MQM, if this was the party of the people of Karachi? Any reason? Yes, they were afraid of MQM popularity and its election wins after the very short period of its foundation.

Correct Farooq, you had countless supporters in 1993, but since then your support dwindled due to your involvement in criminal activities and killing of your opponents. The only way to judge your true support is to have fair elections. As I said earlier, to win fair elections, you will have to first stop the killing spree, refrain from bhatta collection, purge your party of criminals, stop recruiting your workers in govt institutions out of merit. If you think MQM occupy polling stations then what about 1993 provincial election win under the military/army in Karachi??? Did you congratulate MQM???

Umair believes I am PPP supporter, you categorized me as jamatee. Why can't you guys focus on the issue, irrespective of who I am? Just have fair elections and if you win, I will be the first one to congratulate you. But to win in fair elections, you need to win voters' minds. For that, you need to stop killing your opponents, stop bhatta collection, stop putting your halaf-yaftas as Police SHOs, stop putting your workers as ghost employees in KESC, KWSB, KDA, etc etc. Can you do it?
