@TROLLWITHBIGBALLS I didn't have SoTN, but I had Crash Bandicoot. And it's definitely one of the best games on the PS1.
-
@animegamingdude Well It def wasnt one of the bst psx games. Of course there was castlevania and crash bandicoot
-
@TROLLWITHBIGBALLS I didn't, but that's my opinion.
-
@animegamingdude That would work. Loved X6
-
@TROLLWITHBIGBALLS if I were the one handling the dialogue and voices, I would have just pulled a Mega Man X6 and leave in the Japanese voices.
-
@animegamingdude really? wow. I really wish the us and japan versions were not so different. I want to play all the levels
-
@TROLLWITHBIGBALLS the new dialogue is a better translation of the original Japanese dialogue.

I was reading some of the first comments on this video, just out of curiosity; and I saw some people saying that Maria's new voice fits better for her, because she's 17. I don't think that's any relevant. Not all girls have high-pitched voices; there are several cases of women, or girls, with deep voices.
To sum up my opinions on the dub differences, Alucard has a good redubbed voice (though I liked the dissonance of the old one), Dracula is decent (though I miss the old lines of Richter confronting Dracula, like many), and Maria and the others are good. The high point of the redub is Richter Belmont, who has improved by leaps and bounds in this version, and the low point is... Death, who definitely sounded more like a grim reaper with his old voice and less like a creeper.

"I've been waiting for you." Did anybody think that line was sexy when Richter said that? Or is that only me? XD
