VIRGINIA NURSING HOME RESIDENT ANNA RAWLINGS SAYS SHE PLANS TO GO TO THE POLLS THIS NOVEMBER AND VOTE FOR PRESIDENT.
(Rawlings)
"I know when the elections are and who is running for office."

AS TO WHO THIS 85-YEAR-OLD IS VOTING FOR? SHE SAYS THAT WILL REMAIN A SECRET.

BUT OTHERS IN HER AGE GROUP MAY NOT EVEN GET THE CHANCE TO VOTE, ACCORDING TO DR. JASON KARLAWISH. PROBLEMS WITH VOTING IN PLACES LIKE NURSING HOMES ARE BECOMING MORE PREVELANT. (Karlawish)
NAT/CAPITOL HILL: "Many facilities reported to us that there were residents who wanted to vote but were unable to vote largely because of remedial procedural problems."

  • where is the video? and what the hell are 'remedial procedural problems?' I would think the meds would be a problem since most of the old folks homes I have been to keep the residents in a drug induced stupor for the last years of their lives. Great way to respect our elders and the wisdom they have accumulated through some of Americas most trying times.
