What an absolutely beautiful voice. Always missed.

A beautiful version of a great song. Ronnie Browne in great voice, as always. His singing gives me goosebumps, so tuneful and so much feeling.

@bothwell85 iI've heard them called that right enough but I wouldn't say it is that common a local name for them. People just normally call them the Eildons!
-
Yes it is taken from scott's view and it is a view of the Eildons Hills that are known locally as the three sisters. My dogs and i have spent hours on those hills.
-
@Lamartellerie It is the view of the Eildon Hills from a spot called Scott's View. Legend has it that Sir Walter stopped there every time he rode by that the horses stopped for a while when pulling his funeral cortege!
-
it's a lovely interpretation of a piece written by Sir Walter Scott for the daughter he loved so much
-
Classic stuff--I've got to learn this song!
-
@Iain40 Yes, Sir Walter Scott's favorite view, if the tourism board is to be believed.
-
the strings that patently canna be reached are simply there to create the resonance the at gives the overall sound!
-
@Iain40 i can, i'm a stone's throw away from where that was filmed. it's scott's view!
Both so talented! They were as good as it gets. Poor Roy was taken away too soon. RIP Roy, we'll always love you
