I know, I made this exact video twice already. This time I've had a jet kit installed. Huge difference. Watch my 0-60. I think much faster. The throttle is much more responsive now. Totally different sound and feel. Got to almost 110mph.

  • I have an 08 ninja 250R (completely stock) I maxed it out at 105mph! Looks like that jet kit does not add much.

  • @russianoleg Yeah not really getting much more out of the top end. MUCH more responsive though.

  • nice one. do you know how much faster it is.

    the topspeed and the acceleration.

i have the ninja250r and i am thinking about getting a jet kit.

    is it hard to install.

  • @EchoNatek I don't know the numbers but it's definitely a lot more responsive. If you have a slip on exhaust, you should really get a jet kit to even out the mixture. It's hard enough to install that I just had a mechanic do it. I'm not that good with engine stuff.. more into electronics. I would say do it though.

  • Mines getting rejetted right now and its gonna cost about $160

  • @The29Way That sounds about right.

  • @russianoleg if you get your gearing right you can get more was at the track the other day and got my buddies 250 completely stock to 112

  • @nasausaf2 Thats exactly what I did. I bought a 2009 650R. Its way more unconfortable than a 2008 250R. I its too tall for me Im 5.4 tall.

  • @russianoleg yeah but its still a 250. if your dying for 20 more hp just get a 500

  • @tjizzle2da yeah thats becuase its an 06 (older model) my 08 tops out 105mph bone stuck and in ^ this video with jet kit its max is 110. not "allot better"...

  • @russianoleg ive rode a 06 250 that maxed out at 95..so 110 is allot better!

  • @russianoleg Unless u know carbs and how to take them apart and rebuild.. NO

What do you mean get away with stock exhaust..?? What r u trying 2 do..??

  • @01Commenter10 I just bought Dyno JetKit stage 2 for my 250R And a replacement K&N filter. I haven't installed the jet kit yet. Is it hard to do?. I also bought a 50T rear sprocket and a new chain (for some stunting action) Do you think I can get away with the stock exhaust on it?

  • Respond to this video… You DO NOT need a jet kit if you change out the rear muffler alone… But once you change out the air filter OR change out the exhaust for a FULL exhaust system, then you need the Jet kit

  • @EchoNatek If you know your way around carburetors… then yes, its cake…. otherwise do not attempt it. Cause once you do the jet kit, you NEED to put the bike on a dyno to tune the jets for it… its not a plug and play...

  • @russianoleg I put a FULL exhaust on my 250r as well as removed the factory air box (put a K&N directly to the carbs) and it would have trouble starting… once i got it to start, the throttle was not very responsive, and when i did hit the throttle it would buckle and spit… Then we did the jet kit & drilled out the fuel jets and now its running like a CHAMP...
