This is the custom stock i built about a year ago. it is largely based on the mcmillan a4 stock which was developed for the USMC's M40A3

  • Hey idk if u would know but could u possibly build that stock and put the barrel of an airsoft sniper in it

  • @jshearer69 i dont think it would work wit THIS stock, but i am sure that if you did a little bit of work you could probably make a stock for an airsoft sniper rifle. all i did to make the action fit in this stock was take a table saw and set the blade low so that it makes a groove and ran it through a few times to make a wide groove and then i used a router to contour the edges. all the shaping was done with a grinder with a sanding dick on it. if you do it that way you may want to practise

  • How long did it take u to make it?

  • @jshearer69 i spent about 2 full days working on it. it was actualy a fun little project.

  • was tinking of doing the exact same thing with my air rifle, luckly i found ur vid now i can get some examples for my model. thanks a lot dude, awsome work

  • @DarthF21 well thanks :)

i realy enjoyed doing this project, i am a big fan of mcmillan stocks for their comfort when shooting and i just like the look of them, if you want to make an adjustable cheeck peice like i did, and you dont have the metal working tools, you can order a karsten cheeck peice which is basicaly the same thing
