This Summer 2012, I am planning to go back to Nepal to explore adventures of climbing via Childreach International. The fundraising target is £2500 and will go towards telemedicine and education of children. It's a 19 days trip and Everest Base Camp is our final destination. I can't wait to go around villages, meet my fellow people, learn more about their cultures and enjoy the breathtaking views from the top.
Again, I see it as a great opportunity to bring (UK) Nepali organisations based on caste and geography together, along with the existing business companies and restaurants.
You can make your generous donation by following the link below. Remember every penny counts :)

  • @sweetsacrifice1234 and @ Binubik80 : Dear Bishwas and Bikram sorry for late response. After your heads up about reaching to other undeveloped regions of Nepal, I spoke with director of Childreach International in Nepal and also contacted another NGO called "INF". They operate in remote areas like Jumla and Surkhet. I am looking into visiting these areas and contributing my share, while my stay. I ll keep you updated about how it goes. But Everest Base Camp is definitely just a start :)

  • Hi Maya, Good to hear about it but towards Everest most of the people are rich enough as a part of my experience, i have been to Everest several times as a trekker now i am in UK for further studies. What i suggest you to be in those place where there is no link of tourist and of course undeveloped region. Yeah Everest people are rich enough to build their village so try other part of Nepal. Any way god bless you good luck.

  • Maya, It is an excellent idea. I fully support Biswas's View. There are other remote areas in Nepal where we could support as Everest Area is explored by a lot of people and a lot of other Charity who have built schools around Everest Area and Edmund Hillary trust as well.
