Iranian People

Iranian people are a collection of different ethnics and religions.
Persians, Azaris, Kurds, Lors, Baluchs, Turkmens, Qashqais, Arabs, Gilakis and Mazandaranis, Taleshis, Lak, Khalj, Sistani, Assyrian, Georgian, Pashtun are a few examples of the ethnics and Armenian (Christian), Jewish, Muslim, Zoroastrian, and Baha'i make up the population of the country, Iran.
Some Iranians are white, some pale, some fair, some dark! You can not recognize almost half of Iranians when you see them because of our different looks and this is one of the many reasons i believe Iran is a beautiful and a must see country!

وطن یعنی جزایر سه گانه و بحرین و آبهای گرمش
وطن یعنی ناموس یعنی شرف یعنی زندگی یعنی ایران

they are Irani by nationality and arab by ethnic.

You know when Iran fucked up? When they converted into Islam.. they fucked up big time there.. They lost all their Europism.. Now all they have is an Indo European language spoken by Muslim Arab looking people..

@johhnnyrtrtrt all I can say is that you seem jealous. I don't disagree that there are beautiful Indian people, but your comparison is lame. By the way, Persians are rarely that pale. They have good coloring, but are lighter than Indians on the whole. You obviously haven't seen all Iranians to see how sharp and mysterious their features can be.

@DontForgetIran2010 let me tell you something, iranians might look white... but iranians are such plain typical average looking people, indians have much more sharper,unique,mysterious,rare­,beautiful facial features! and india is more diverse, everybody in Iran looks like same and some iranians are so light skin, they look sick.. i feel like throwing up, just looking at their faces makes me lactose intolerant!

@johhnnyrtrtrt with all due respect sir or mam, there are more white looking people in Iran than there are in India today. Not to say that there is anything wrong or unsightly about darker people, but you should get your facts straight before making a comment like that.

I love traditional Iranian clothes, so colorful and elaborate....why do we follow western fashion so closely when girls in villages are so exquisitely elegant?
