TU! I remember seeing this back when it aired, yeah it was definitely the hair, and also I felt that the weird rules actually messed up Paulson who unlike some of the other strikers in there was more well balanced and could grapple and totally looked like he had submissions skills. I felt like he should have just entered as a grappler like Vale.

Ahh the old NHB days, anything goes without gloves. But that hair pulling shit was crazy though. Glad paulson elbowed the shit outta him for that shit.

weird rules,the fighters wee split into grapplers and strikers and paulsen was actually a striker.

Erik, Chad, Yuri, Damon and Ron those were the days mid 90s at the Inosanto academy. Wish I could go back and train longer with these guys. Thanks for posting this.

@kenseisato1989 Erik was doing stunt work back then. His corner man and training partner, Chad Stahelski, went on to do tons of stunt work and doubled Keanu Reeves for The Matrix trilogy. ...as for the broken cup, Erik's a tough customer, all the way!
