Dave Whitson at UVTEC 4 (1/2)

Dave Whitson currently teaches at the Tesseract School in Phoenix, AZ. Previously, he taught at the Overlake School in Redmond, WA and the Lakeside School in Seattle, WA. All are independent schools. His current course load includes 11th grade Literature (Lit of the Americas), 11th grade History (History of the Americas) and an elective titled Life, Death, and Immortality.

In this video filmed at our annual Fall conference (Understanding Violence: Tools for Educators and Communities), he discusses the methods by which he would like to (and does) introduce Ernest Becker to High School students, as well as the challenges involved.
