Just complete ignorance, I wonder if they had more education would they stoop that low. He should of just went to jail for stealing the gold chain or pay a fine for his peity theft, but the way they beat him is as if he murdered somebody, but the man didn't harm anyone he simply stole a gold chain. Given the economic trouble of the country he could of just wanted to feed his family, maybe the man's facing poverty. Who knows his reason fo stealing ,but simply beating him is not solving anything
