Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, the raspy-voiced sing of TLC, has struggled with her health in recent years. Watkins publicly dealt with her diagnosis of sickle-cell anemia and recently underwent brain surgery to remove a tumor. Now, T-Boz has revealed that she was suffering from the H1N1 virus, commonly known as swine flu. In a recent interview with Life & Style, T-Boz admits to being shocked by her latest diagnosis.
T-Boz followed her doctors orders but confessed that she didnt feel threatened by the illness. The doctors checked her vitals oxygen and told her my heartbeat was strong. They then gave her some fluids and told explained that the flu was just running its course.

The makeup brand M.A.C. has named the ultimate fashion muse, Lady Gaga, and the ultimate party gal, Cyndi Lauper, as the newest faces of the M.A.C AIDS Fund for the From Our Lips campaign.
Two new lipsticks inspired by the colorful artists will be unveiled on March 18, 2010 — one called Gaga and the other Cyndi. Each tube will cost $14, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the M.A.C AIDS Fund, which has invested more than $150 million to organizations in more than 67 countries since it was founded in 1994.

Will Smith has reportedly signed on to star in and produce an adaptation of Daniel Keyes classic 1959 novel Flowers for Algernon for his own Sony-based Overbrook Entertainment production company, reports Pajiba.
The story centers on a mentally disabled man who is the first to undergo a surgery that is said to raise intelligence. While the operation is successful, and his IQ raises from 68 to 185, the side effects include social setbacks where he feels ostracized from society.
No writer or director has yet been set though Gabriele Muccino (The Pursuit of Happyness, Seven Pounds) has been mentioned.

Dr. Dre's Beats By Dre brand and Monster Cable has teamed up with Best Buy, in an effort to become a new destination for DJs, with the launch of a new in-store Club Beats area.
According to billboard.biz, the major retailer will be opening a new section in all its stores where consumers can test out the latest audio, music, entertainment and technology products including DJ equipment, mixing software, turntables, headphones and laptops.
Best Buy has noticed growing interest in DJing, with the recent release of the video game title DJ Hero. So, they see this DJ-focused offering as something brand new for mainstream retail.
This is the latest campaign expanding Dres already successful Beats brand, which includes his line of headphones, and a new software called Beats Audio bundled with the new HP Envy laptop.
