The Announcements Song

Sung and loved by campers everywhere. I first learned it at the Bishop Quarterman Conference Center (BQCC) in Amarillo, Texas. This summer I spread the love to Swing Out New Hampshire (SONH).

You have no idea how much this video made my day. I've been going to Quarterman since 2003 and this past summer (2008) was my senior summer. I typed in "Bishop Quarterman" to the search engine, not really expecting to find anything and I ended up with this.

The Announcement Song is still in use. So is the "You've been primping" song, but they replaced the flagpole with a cross, so we have to sing "around the cro-oss you must go,"--doesn't flow too well, but that's ok.
