Thank you very much Sal, I remember seeing the diagram for batteries there but now I can't find where it was ,, I also have the flexmax 80 it works very well, thanks again,

@kg4bga Thousands of dollars! That is an expensive rig. Looks fabulous.

@darkeyes206 Yes they do block. The reason that old blocking diode was there was because of the wind turbine charge controller which did not have a blocking diode, I added one internally.

@kg4bga Way too much I'm sorry to say

hi great video, can i parallel circuit 12v batterys that have different amphours??

@16vastraturbo Yes, but it is not recommended because one will be charged before the other and one will be discharged before the other...not a good setup at all but better than nothing at all.

Hey Sal,
great video, I learned a lot from it ,, my question is ,,, I have 20 , 6v batteries, I need to double my amps, cam I series two and parallel two ( that makes 4) to stay at 12v ,,,, can I do that five times and then parallel them together ???

@terrybobb I will assume you will need to keep your voltage at twelve volts. Take a pair of batteries and connect them in series, then make another pair, etc. until you have ten pairs of batteries adding up to twelve volts. Then take the ten pairs of batteries and parallel them to each other. You will then end up with ten pairs of 12v batteries in parallel. I suggest you go to the Outback Power web site and look at the manual for their charge controller it has diagrams for batteries.
