This is track 3 from the album "The Mysterious Sounds of the Japanese Bamboo Flute" by Watazumido Shuso. This is a record I found a few years ago. I cleaned up the audio with Audacity as much as possible.

Music from this album was used in the Andrei Tarkovsky film "The Sacrifice."

Description from the album cover:

Akebono-Jishi
"Akebono-Jishi", performed with a 61 cm "Hotchiku", is a festival tune from Kyushi composed at the end of the
Tokugawa era.
