Fantastic song. It's actually sort of mocking the IMF and so called "disaster capitalism" all together - the way the IMF gives out loans and bailouts on a massive scale to developing countries, only to purposely weaken their economies by diluting their currency and by giving the nation practically impossible repayment deals. This way, it prevents these countries from competing for the (lack of) resources left on Earth, effectively the rich countries stay rich and the poor stay poor.
