Tori Amos is a true performer, and it's rare to see an artist completely immerse herself into a song the way Amos does in her music. It's one of the qualities that I love about her. She gives it all she has from writing the first word to a well-written song to singing it in full animation before an audience.

This is one of the artist that I truly admire- she freely expresses herself and her music is filled with passion.

dining underneath the tidal waves....when she speaks it seems like she's also singing....very unique, very intelligent Tori, You're one a kind.

I love this song, but the thing I love most is the way Jake use to can be babies. Not in the same way- I don't think. But it don't matter I miss him very much.

I just got my "Little Earthquakes" cd in the mail yesterday, remembering how much I loved it when it first came out. "Tear in Your Hand" really hits a base nerve for me, particularly "Time to wave goodbye, now." Tori, you're absolutely wonderful--a pre-Raphaelite beauty with a voice to match.

she is not talking about tear in your hand but about Spark.

I feel sad for her. It's a long time ago, but such things shake you up.

Tori is an great artist - maybe the greatest artist ever!
Whoever edited/titled this video was mistaken. Tear in your hand' was written and released in 1992 - a few years BEFORE the miscarriage Tori speaks about in this interview. Besides, Tori Amos has stated in several interviews that the song 'Spark' imks about her miscarriage. This would make sense because 'Spark' was written in 1997 the year just AFTER her miscarriage.
