Zeppelin did more for the whole music industry in their first 5 years than the Stones have done in 50. As for plagiarism, how many people would know who Willie Dixon is if not for Zep? Their borrowings brought these forgotten artists back into mainstream. Just like Dyson improved the vacuum cleaner, Zeppelin improved every tune they borrowed and turned them into classics. On the flipside, try listen to the radio today and tell me Zep haven't been ripped off more than any artist in history.
