This is basically a front to backwards stepping move that has been modified for Roller skates going sideways. There are several variations including going backwards. The absolute best song for this kind of move is Funkytown.

Funny I stumble across cuz i was at a logan roller rink doing this like a couple nights ago. I was like maybe I should try something new and i never knew it was actually something everyone knew, I just tried it
