Make sure to not do the choke more that 15 seconds like it says in the owners manual. I dont think anything real bad will happen but im always too careful about those things :P

I was a firm believer of the 15 second rule until, I realized that, riding a bike cold was doing more harm than riding a bike fully warmed up. The 15 second rule is a very conservative time set forth by Honda - remember, the bike doesn't have a warranty. I've had friends idle their bikes for up to a minute - when we re-did their piston at 100 hours, no sign of damage, abnormal wear or nothing, but a full minute is too much for my blood - if the engine is super cold - 25 ~ 30 seconds MAX.
