each govt acts in its own interest. It is you who elect that govt or allow a ruler to rule. I can argue in other way too. It is islam who mess things up by paralysing muslims mind. We don't expect america to help us, we expect them to not mess stuff up in the first place. And also, you seem to be confused, 5 times a day we pray, we do not have 5 khudbas a day, most muslims will only have hear a speech once a week. All muslim leaders knows a simple trick to fool its own people. They give mosque mentors a free hand. Mosque mentors are brainwashed monkeys and learn that jews/cia/hindu/christians etc are the culprit. So 5 times a day, they spit this nonsense to you all. All the rulers in the middle east are powerful because of their own people. Do NOT expect america to come and solve your problems. Last time they tried in ME (irag), majority muslims did not like it. It is damm if USA help you and it is damm if USA did not help you. You are confused person.There is one mubarak and millions of egyptian. The fact is, that in Saudi the Khudbas get censored, in Egypt those who voice opposition to Mubarak get thrown in Jail etc. It is not as simple as rise up and fight those who oppress you, if it were that simple then it would be done by now. Middle east is messed up because muslims there believe in king rule or dictartorship. Do you see america, putting a gun on each muslim in ME? I do not hate people but hate islam. I agree america want to stop russian and was able to do with help of locals. In this case, locals had a choice and they choose to help USA. Locals do not wanted communist rule and wanted to defend their culture/tradition. So blame the locals not USA. In the end, locals got their wish fulfilled and they believe in islam lies.

American also funded the south vietnam to defeat north vietnam. After USA/ south defeat, the north side did not propogated taliban.

America funded, helped to set up and trained the taliban. That is a historical fact. And they did not do so to help Afghanistan, they did so to hinder the Russians. The middle east has been messed up by interference like this, our leaders are corrupt kings who do not have their people at heart. There is Mubarak of Egypt, then there is the Saudi Royal family. Sadam was funded and sold weapons by America, etc etc etc. We hate these people as much as you.
