From the 1988 recording conducted by Leonard Bernstein.

So, Musetta. Remember the "you don't mess with Musetta" rule? Rule no. 2 is that you don't piss her off either, specially throwing a jealousy fit. Marcello apparently can't remember the 2 basic rules and throws a jealousy fit the size of Texas and Musetta tells him that he can go back to his mother and to paint houses.

While all this is going on, Mimi and Rodolfo think about it and they just realize that winter is just too cold without your sweetie. They decide to give it one more chance and wait until the spring cleaning to clear each other's closet.

Jerry Hadley and Angelina Reaux make up while Thomas Hampson's Marcello gets his ass handed to him on a silver platter by Barbara Daniels' Musetta.

The Quartet is titled Dunque e proprio finita. Did you know that the melody comes from a song that Puccini composed while still a student? The song is titled Sole e amore.

For those interested in the cast, one of the slides lists it.

Enjoy!
