One in a Millon, imagine Shergar and Secretariat in a race.........

@ASupremeOwl lol thanks for that.. not all irish people like the IRA 90% hate the fuckers. and shergar is irish so your calling him scum aswell

Such a special gift wasted so needlessly. You have to love people sometimes. Only human kind could waste such a precious and beautiful gift as Shergar.
-
I love the way this horse just cruises in at the end of his races

But frankel is gonna be the greatest ever his turn of speed is amazing and he destroyed an excellent horse in canford cliffs, he destroyed an a class field because rio de la plata with detrori on board aunt no slouch either

it was the fanatics that took shergar the irish people love racing and were as upset as anyone over this despicable crime!!!!
-
Difficult to balance the cruel and senseless murder of Shergar with a people wanting their independence ..... I do hope 'what goes around comes around' has hit those people like a bullet .....
-
R.I.P. Shergar, you legend. i hope to god every IRA member goes to hell and while on there way there, get bet around the place by shergar and every other racehorse in heaven. one of, if not the best racehorses ever. i really hope someday that they find his remains so he can be given a proper burial place

sea the stars was an exceptional horse and had a superb cruise speed he won the irish champion in the style of a super horse i love shergar but we will never know who would have won any race between all the great horses so its pointless hurling abuse at eachother this is ra\cing not politics just enjoy!!!!!!!!!

Shergar ran 8 times in all, winning first time out as a 2-y-o before finishing 2nd to Beldale Flutter in the William Hill Futurity (now the Racing Post Trophy). At 3 he ran 6 times, winning the Guardian Classic Trial at Sandown (by 10 lengths), the Chester Vase (by 12 lengths), the Derby (10 lengths), the Irish Derby (4 lengths) and the King George (4 lengths) before his defeat in the Leger when finishing a disappointing fourth to Cut Above.
